It is easy to operate the dehumidifier. Instruction is printed on the dehumidifier for ease of reference. The button does not lit up, so not convenient to operate when dark. Tried the dehumidifying function. Almost half a tank was filled up each night. It's effective judging from th amount of collected water. Down side is the dehumidifier could be quite loud and warm. The air quality indicator showed excellent environment despite being located next to construction site. It's fan speed will increase for a few second but not loud.

We cleaned everything out and started putting the dehumidifier in every room. Mold problem was gone, and we love how easy it was to sleep in a room which was much less humid and had cleaner air. The laundry mode was very handy for drying clothes quickly as well. Overall the dehumidifier is well designed and very easy to use, no problems at all if you take the time to read through the manual before using. Every time we replace the HEPA filter, we are shocked by how dirty it is. Love this product and will definitely recommend to anyone who's looking for a dehumidifier!

The functions and operating panel are very intuitive. Fan's max speed setting was rather noisy though but expected. Construction site opposite and filter still looks clean after a week of use. Mold-y smell at the bathroom also reduced even when the device is placed in the living room, about 10m away. Water tank is easy to remove and can hold a considerable amount of water. Auto monitoring of ambient air quality through the lighting is a very nice aesthetic feature. For this retail price, the device feels value for money given its size, capacity and design.

I am fairly impressed with its simple-to-use functionality with clear instructions. So far, the air is quite pleasantly free of doggies smell. For Dehumidifier function- As I tend to dry my clothes indoor, the dehumidifier play a part in clearing the air of the musky smell in the living room. The design of the air purifier/ dehumidifier is also pleasant looking when placed in my living room. Will look better if it is a tad bit less bulkier. So far so good! Air Purifier /dehumidifier does it job in clearing some of my few concerns !

The only slight complaint that I can have about this product will be its size as this is fairly bulky and is more suitably placed in the living room than bedroom. So far this dehumidifier is an efficient performer and gives my family a peace of mind in ensuring that my house has clean air! I am happy to have this in my house especially with its versatility and efficiency, two thumbs up.

Pros: 1. Easy to use. 2. Pre-filter can be washed unlike some brands where pre-filter is part of the main filter and has to be frequently changed. Cons: 1. Auto mode does not turn off device when detected air quality is good. 2. Filter does not contain carbon to remove odour.

Rated 4 out of 5 by BBao from It Works! This dehumidifier is effective in maintaining the humidity level, which helps in preventing mold on my door and door frames. I just need to turn it on 2-3hrs at night. However, the hose is not flexible and unable to straighten the hose, making it difficult to connect to the floor trap from the water compartment of this product, ending up with no use at all for the hose and need clear the eater absorbed every 3-4 days or it will overflow onto the floor. The wheels only move sideways. Should have the wheels able to move 360 degree would be better especially the product is quite heavy.

Hence no doubt this is another good product from Philips. However as a product, these is always pros and cons that comes with it. Pros - powerful dehumidifying ( especially in an enclosed area, good for clothes drying) - Can easily fill up 4 litres of water bucket in just less than 6 hours drying - alternative water dispense with water hose instead of the bucket - Easy touch operation - Sensitive detection of air quality - Nice Aesthetic to fit into your environment Cons - During Dehumidifying, the machine blows out dry and warm air, making the surrounding temperature to rise - In bigger area, like the living room, even though enclosed, the effect of dehumidifying drops significantly. - its pretty heavy and bulky even with empty water bucket - the wheels on the machine is no multi-direction hence adding on to the difficulty of moving from room to room. - Fan speed above level 3 is pretty loud. - the power cord could have been longer All in all, I will still recommend this Air Purifier & Dehumidifier, because it has done well in what its supposed to do. it is perfect to be used for clothe's drying in the service yard, however it will defeat the purpose for air purifying. If you are looking only for a dehumidifier, actually Air conditioner is more powerful and is cooling.
